I want to tell you something I'm almost embarrassed to admit.
For about 10 years, I jumped from one online business to the next. Amazon fulfillment. Etsy. Shopify. TikTok affiliate stuff. I even went back to Etsy twice. 🫣
Every single time, I'd start strong. Two days of fire, maybe three. Then I'd try to do six things at once, lose my schedule, and wake up three months later in the exact same spot.
Same bank balance. Same frustration. Same feeling of "what am I even doing?"
The problem was never the business
It was never the platform, and it was never the strategy either.
It was that I refused to do one thing. Just one, every single day, long enough for it to actually matter.
I know that sounds too simple. I thought so too, for a decade.
But this year, something finally clicked. I set my schedule the night before. I picked ONE task, and I did it the next day before anything else. Then I did it again. And again.
The difference has been night and day.
Ninety days is longer than you think
Here's what I keep thinking about. Pick any 90 days on the calendar, starting today.
You could get to the end of them in the exact same spot. Same sigh when you open your banking app. Same quiet disappointment you don't talk about at dinner.
Or you could start one thing today. One small daily action that moves you closer to where you want to be. Do it tomorrow. Do it the day after. Make it so automatic that it feels weird when you skip it.
Ninety days of one consistent action changes you from the inside out. I'm not exaggerating. I've watched it happen to me this year, after ten years of not doing it.
What helps me keep my streak
If you're wondering how to keep that one thing going, I've been using something called the Let's Goal app. What I love about it is that it keeps gratitude front and center while you track your progress. When you can see how far you've come, even after just a week or two, you stop wanting to quit and start wanting to protect your streak.
Turns out, gratitude and momentum are basically best friends.
You don't need a perfect plan, and you don't need to overhaul your life. You just need one thing, done daily, for 90 days.
If you're curious about the system I'm using and want to see how the pieces fit together, you can check it out here. No pressure. It's just something that's working for me, and I wanted to share it in case you're ready for the next 90 days to feel different.
Thanks for reading, and whatever you do, always go for your dreams!
Ashley 💙
